Life at Roberts Ranch
Roberts Cattle Co. started as a dream, the idea of building our own cattle operation in a place we could call home.
Our property spans 106 hectares in the Eungella where the climate is cooler, rainfall is reliable, and the country is perfect for grazing.
Rolling pastures intertwine with spring-fed creeks and dams, creating a landscape we’re proud to work on.
We currently run primarily Brahman cross cattle selected for their suitability to North Queensland conditions. These steers are raised on pasture and supplied through local saleyards to the wider beef supply chain.
For us, Roberts Ranch is more than just land — it’s where we’re building our future. Our approach centres on good stockmanship, animal welfare, responsible land management, and producing cattle that agents and buyers can rely on.
We take pride in every animal and every paddock, knowing that quality comes from hard work and care.

G’day! We’re Gus and Georgia Roberts, and Roberts Cattle Co. has been a dream in the making for years.
Together, we’re bringing a fresh approach to cattle farming. We know what works — good stockmanship and hands-on care — but we also use data and smart systems to improve production, animal health, and efficiency. We want buyers and agents to see that we’re switched on, professional, and running our operation with both brains and grit.
It’s rare these days to find a couple under 30 chasing a first-generation farming dream, but we’re determined to make it work. Roberts Cattle Co. is about doing what we love, growing our herd and our property.
We’ve been working on this dream for years, investing in properties across Queensland while renovating our own home in Mackay, and finally, we’re here. It’s been a journey, we’re proud of how far we’ve come, and honestly… we’re just getting started!
